GATHER is a café and meeting spot for the East Rock community of New Haven.

We also host events, game nights, midnight film screenings, musical performances.

If you are interested in performing, hosting a talk, exhibiting art, hosting a game night, or anything that brings people together, please reach out here, or stop by the café to have a chat.

The symbol GATHER uses is from the I - Ching or ‘The Book of Changes’. The 45th hexagram in this book is Gathering Together.

The power of gathering together is represented by a rally, where each individual’s strength is magnified by the collective power of a community.

When gathered together with others, we are more powerful—even if, in some ways, we are also more vulnerable.
